Visualization is how 3 people from different walks of life managed to get a job in a city with high unemployment rates.
The television program was conducted by the late Dr. Wayne Dyer.
The television was created to test if “visualization powers could get you a job” especially if you were in a bad market condition.
Most of the TV viewers were skeptical of course. In fact, they had complete disbelief that this visualization concept could ever work.
Despite the disbelief of the viewers, Wayne Dyer chose three people randomly from an unemployment queue in a city with high unemployment numbers.
The important thing to know here is that all three of them had been unemployed for one year or longer. Before they were fired from their old jobs.
• The first person had worked in a supermarket for $10,000 yearly
• Second person had worked as a salesman for $25,000 yearly
• Third one hade been a manager for $250,000 yearly
See yourself with a job already
The three participants were asked to “see themselves with a job”, to “see” themselves back at a job working again and to "act on this visualization”.
All each of them did what they were told to do.
What happened to these three people was absolutely spectacular.
After 3 months all three got new jobs
The first person got a $10,000 per year job; the second person, the salesman got a $25,000 per year job; and the third person, the manager, got a $250,000 per year job.
And these jobs did not come from another planet or something, Dr Dyer says with a smile.
The jobs were always here at this present moment, but when they started to imagine it, they then let themselves act in a way that attracted them this job.
Perhaps the most amazing thing about this exercise in mind power was that all three continued earning the same salaries as they had previously earned.
This is because they had visualized this image in their minds.
That is what they wanted and imagined for themselves.
If you imagine yourself working as a supermarket clerk, and it is everything that you think you are capable of working with you sooner or later begin to act
on these "clerk" images.
And no one can help you to go beyond this job of being a supermarket clerk – because you visualized it for yourself.
Limiting beliefs
Most people become trapped in their own limiting beliefs of what they can do.
They think that they can't earn more money or get better jobs because of their company, their family, their origin, their education, their history , etc.
And therefore people remain at that same level for the remainder of their life.
The thing is that your inner image creates your reality, not circumstances.
Many people think that they can't visualize.
But actually, everybody visualizes all the time.
In fact, you can't get dressed in the morning if you can't see yourself dressed.
